Engine control for a dirigible carriage for sewer inspection
Customer's Requirement:
Implementing an engine control for a dirigible carriage.
The customer wants his current electronic solution expanded by a 2-axis-engine control to make the carriage dirigible.
Project Scope:
Implementation:
- Triggering of two BLDC-motors through power output stage
- Communication with the existing higher-level carriage control
- Integration and adjustment of the dirigible carriage to the sewer inspection system
Hardware:
- Siemens XC164
- Power output stage SA305
Software:
- Zuken Cadstar 9.0 (circuit diagram, layout)
- Keil C166 for μC-Coding
Tasks:
- Analysis of existing system
- Concept creation of the higher level carriage control
- Creation of specification together with the customer (space available, interface definition,)
- Hardware PCB construction (circuit diagrams, layout, engineering data, documents of bringing into into service)
- Development of μC-Software for rotation speed control of both axe, motor current limiting, abnormal temperature protection and communication with higher level control)
- Verification of all development steps
- Validation at the canalisation system
